College football championship weekend picks on the HG

Someone famous once said, Alright, Alright, Alright - it’s championship time and it should be a great time as we decide 10 conference champions and round out the final four for the College Football Playoff.

Come next week we will know all the bowl match-ups, coaches will start to land at new jobs and odds for the playoff will be updated.

As we have every week we wanted to get our picks out for the weekend. It’s been a great year and now it’s time to have some fun with post season gaming.

Below are what we think will happen this weekend and like all championship weekends, we will get some great games and then some blow outs.

Clemson has been destroying opponents lately and while Virginia looks to have the team to keep this game at least respectable, Dabo Swinney has been publicly mad lately so this one could get ugly.

LSU - Georgia is the big one in the SEC and will LSU dominate this one, or get taken to the wire like with Auburn?
