2022 Ohio State football on the HG
Jake Wimberly
What’s to like:
Much like Alabama - there isn’t a lot to not like about this Ohio State football team. CJ Stroud is a flat stud at quarterback, their backfield is as good as any in the country and they are loaded across the board.
Ryan Day has a great coaching staff and this team should be better than every team they line up against on Saturday’s this fall.
What’s not to like:
Defense - the Buckeyes have to be better defensively or they are gonna get popped along the way at some point. The Buckeyes gave up 100 points in their last two games alone and need to really improve on a unit that was 43rd nationally a year ago on defensive scoring efficiency.
The Buckeyes are right behind Alabama in Vegas and if the Buckeyes want to challenge the Tide this year, it’s gonna be the defense that really gives them a shot.

FINAL THOUGHTS:
If there was no Alabama - Ohio State would be the class of college football in 2022. But, this Ohio State team has all the makings of a team that can challenge and even beat Alabama on a given night.
If the defense improves, that’s bad news for the BIG 10 and most anyone else who sets foot on a field with the Buckeyes in 2022.
Look for the table to be set for the Buckeyes and a deep run towards a possible championship this year.
