What’s to like:
The reigning National Champions are coming back in 2025, and don’t expect for much of a fall off. Head coach Ryan Day has young and insanely talented stars who will be even better than last season. Freshman breakout star WR Jeremiah Smith had 1,315 yards and 15 TDs. This kid will be back this season older, wiser, and more dominant.
Ohio State also has other young stars besides Jeremiah Smith. Sophomore WR Carnell Tate and Sophomore CB Caleb Downs are both looking to build off of great seasons from the both of them. The Buckeyes are young and hungry to win another Natty.
What’s not to like:
The Buckeyes will lose 3 great players to the NFL Draft in QB Will Howard, RB Quinshon Judkins, and RB TreVeyon Henderson. The offense is taking a massive hit losing these 3, but they have a ton of talent coming in behind them. If the new talent can come in and play half as good as these guys, Ohio State will be fine.

Final thoughts:
The Ohio State Buckeyes will have another dominant season. They probably will not win that much in the playoffs due to losing very key pieces to the team, and having a brand new QB with Julian Sayin. However, if they fill those holes, and get the ball to Jeremiah Smith, the Buckeyes will have a chance to repeat. Ryan Day and the Buckeyes will continue to roll, and there is nothing you can do about it.
